(Have I inserted enough coffee references yet?) "Cross browser compatibility" is no longer an odd phrase, I now try to test any updates I make in IE6, IE7, Mozilla and more recently Safari. My next adventure will be into creating a mobile friendly version of my site. Anyway, I am very conscious that people reading this post will probably have a finger hovering over that Back button so I will wrap things up. I guess I am looking for some of that "Peer Validation" so if you think I'm an SEO greenhorn, don't hold back, I can take the criticism (I hope) and would love to get some feedback.

The act of optimizing a website to be search engine friendly is a combination of tasks that are fully integrated throughout the dev lifecycle. Not a single line in a project plan expecting to gather all items related to SEO into one task, to be done by one person.


So what does the dev lifecycle look like, well I’ve always likened it to the game of Chutes and Ladders. As you move through the process, you run across chutes and ladders that either launch you forward or move you back 3 spaces.
