Today we speak with Angélica Bueno, a student of the Dual Master in Digital Marketing Management, who is currently implementing her full digital potential through her internship.

How has your experience at IM and in your internship been?
I am very happy. I started the master's degree in January and immediately bahrain consumer mobile number list started looking for an internship in April. The two things happened very quickly and it was very pleasant, as it is what I value most at the moment.

I took the SEO classes and just started the internship I am doing now at Onedirect, a telecommunications company. They cover a bit of all this: the application of SEO, keyword research…

I am in the content creator role, managing the blog, the LinkedIn profile, looking at metrics and also testing how to enhance the brand.

For all those people who follow us and do not fully understand all the benefits that can be obtained with SEO, can you tell us what it consists of and what are the benefits that a company obtains from having a good SEO strategy?
It is all the optimization of the website or blog so that it has a good ranking in Google, that is, so that Google finds us and, without being a paid medium, can have a good position, appearing in the first search results. Although now it is not only about taking into account the keywords, but there is a broader range, in the sense that it is very important to take into account the optimization of the images, that they have their respective alt, that these words are integrated, that they are optimized in terms of quality, in terms of size, etc.

If an image is too heavy, the page will be slow. And if the page is slow, customers get bored and leave the page. All of these factors are what Google takes into account when it comes to ranking us, in addition to the content being related to what the person or customer is searching for.

It is about optimizing the entire website, both internally and externally, because here we also work on having links to internal and external content. If we have these “allies”, that is, these pages that are in our same niche and that can really talk about us, we will achieve greater authority on the website.

What Google is looking for is an optimal user experience, so that a customer enters your page and finds what they are looking for in the fewest number of clicks.

This is very interesting because it is what I am working on at the company: looking at all of its channels and optimizing them. As we are a B2B company that manages product sheets, what we do is optimize them in such a way that the client can see the product that interests them, and that the content is so direct, interesting and valuable that they decide to invest in that product.

So, as a student you are already implementing SEO strategies and blog strategies. Are you starting with more topics?
Yes, I am now halfway through the master's degree and I am looking into what Ads are (Social Ads, Google Analytics, etc.). This whole part, although I am not working on it in the company as such, is very important to understand because in the end everything is very related in the sense that I have to see the metrics and I have to see that what I am doing has value and is really impacting the public.
