There was a video on Google's channel with 3 quick tips to speed up your website. This in itself didn't cause controversy - it was one sentence from Martin Splitt that dispelled all the myths about Core Web Vitals:
“They are not as important as some people might think.”
He also noted that although it is worth taking care of the speed of the website, it should not be the main goal of positioning .
So we know that Core Web Vitals optimization does not have a significant impact on search engine rankings, but it still improves user experience.
