Since she started attending international WordPress events, she has been contributing to its development as an active member of the global Marketing Team and Polyglots Team of WordPress.org, and recently participated in supporting the release of WordPress 5.6. Today we talk to Tyler Lau from the US about his work developing relationships in marketing and the role WordPress plays in his life.

Entrepreneurial thinking
Tyler recalls that he always had an eye for business special lead opportunities. Even as a diligent seven-year-old, he was already finding ways to sell and make money during school holidays.

While many entrepreneurs have similar stories, Tyler's path took many twists and turns before he discovered WordPress and found success with it.

In search of personal and professional freedom, he was drawn to WordPress and the community of people it formed, where he was eventually able to combine his diverse business interests and people skills into professional marketing work.



Tyler is currently a Marketing Relationship Manager based in Kansas, USA. His responsibilities span a wide range of digital assets and products, and utilize his diverse business and human skills.
