And we can’t ignore the crucial role of call-to-action (CTAs). Marketers need to take the time to learn how to write effective CTAs, and that’s not all – even the placement within the email matters.

It’s interesting to note that some action verbs can work against you. Words like download, enter, and send can be pushy words. They create the impression that you want the shopper to work or devote some energy or time.
