Ergonomics of space

Post by pilide2813 »

The 2,050 square meter area comfortably accommodates 178 employees, with the company currently employing over a hundred people in Prague, a hundred in the USA and twenty in Canada. In addition to their workplace, each employee can use one of 260 alternative places divided into open spaces. The Prague office is mainly staffed by software engineers and product managers, whom the company is actively looking for.
Among other things, there are 14 different types of meeting spaces or rooms: a work room for creative team work, a 'daily room' meeting room with the option of sleeping over, a focus or doublefocus room for concentrated work, a podcast room for preparing and producing podcasts, phone booths, classic meeting rooms of various sizes or even a 'scrumpoint' for organizational meetings of teams, including online participants. All rooms are fully equipped with audiovisual equipment.
For everyday work, there are three spacious day offices: Park, Marina and Avenue, created in a team spirit, offering views of the Vítkov panorama or the marina with yachts. The space also includes a 450 m2 central japan telemarketing list 'square' ready for organizing events, which is equipped with a significant detail - a light in the shape of the company logo.

Offices ready for growth
In case of further growth, Productboard has leased two more floors of the building, which it currently leases to other companies. “ We are preparing for global growth and expect that in a few years we could even quadruple our number. We have therefore leased a total of 4,350 meters and are fully prepared for more colleagues to join us ,” explains Hejl. The design is designed so that all floors can be connected by one internal staircase.

YUAR project management
The implementation of such large offices is in the order of tens of millions of crowns and the entire project was managed by the YUAR Design & Project management system, in which the project author takes responsibility for the deadline and budget. For the successful implementation of the interior, it was also necessary to select suitable partners. “The suppliers went through a demanding, multi-round tender and it is appropriate to thank everyone who participated in it,” says architect Janáč. The general contractor for the construction was DT Expert, and the general supplier of the furniture was TECHO / Ahrend. Other partners included ProInterier, Stavební interiérové systémy, U1 Lighting, NTT Czech Republic, AVT Group, G-Data, Silent-Lab and others.
