The 2012 Global Outsourcing and Insourcing Survey Executive Summary by Deloitte Consulting LLP clearly illustrates the growing trend towards outsourcing . Respondents came from all industries, including financial services, technology, media and telecommunications, with diverse revenues, and represented both global companies and the domestic US market. This diverse representation gives an interesting weight to the survey results.

The survey results clearly show that there is an upward trend in outsourcing practices.
