Ambient Marketing vs Guerrilla Marketing vs Viral Marketing
Ambient marketing, guerrilla marketing and viral marketing are three different, but often confused, strategies that use creativity and an unconventional approach to brand promotion. Ambient advertising focuses on placing ads in unusual places, surprising recipients in their everyday surroundings and creating unique, engaging experiences. Guerilla marketing, on the other hand, is a low-budget activity that uses unconventional and surprising methods, often engaging recipients directly on the street or student database in public spaces to generate immediate response and interest. Viral marketing, on the other hand, involves creating content that is so interesting or entertaining that recipients themselves want to share it on their social networks, leading to its rapid and wide dissemination. Although each of these strategies has a different starting point and methods of operation, all three share the goal of effectively attracting consumer attention through creativity and surprise, building brand awareness and maximizing the reach and impact of the advertising message.
