You graduated in business administration, what were your goals at that time?
I have always had many interests in different areas. First I wanted to study medicine, then aviation, but having a father who is a businessman, and after seeing his career with his businesses, I decided at the last minute to south korea consumer mobile number list study administration to continue his legacy and when the time comes, take over the reins of the family business. Also, administration is a very solid base for any career, it is useful for absolutely everything, sometimes it is not so much the technical part, but it teaches you to think in a certain way .
At the same time you started working for the multinational consumer goods company, Procter & Gamble. How did this opportunity arise?
About halfway through my studies, I started looking for a job to start developing myself as a professional and to see what the work environment was like. Procter & Gamble has a fairly large operation here in Costa Rica (approx. 1,700 employees) and there was a lot of talk about its good company culture and all its benefits, so I applied. It was a slow process of about 9 months of tests and interviews until I started working in the finance area. I hadn't planned on getting that position, but when I was in the recruitment process, a position opened up, they offered it to me and I decided to take it.
Your other professional profile, that of a photographer, is completely different from the world of accounting. How did this passion come about?
I firmly believe that we are all creative beings, but the world takes it out of us little by little as we grow up . Since I was little, I always had a camera in my hand. I remember back then that they were film cameras, you handed in the film to be developed and after a few days, they gave you back the photos; a very romantic process in my opinion. I have always loved taking pictures, and when I finished studying business administration, I had a month or two where I started to think about what I could do now that I no longer had to go to university, and looking at old photos, many of them with a camera in my hand, and memories started coming back of how much I loved taking pictures . Then, I started looking for videos on YouTube about the basic technical part of photography to start learning something. After a month, I bought a semi-professional camera, and then I did my first photoshoot with a model, and I loved the whole process.
