The first ExpoCloud fair closes its doors with great success and hundreds of visitors in one day

At this first Cloud Computing fair, EuroCloud Spain has managed to bring together, at the Kinépolis in Madrid, relevant personalities from the Cloud Computing sector with the aim of providing information on the competitive advantages that this technology currently offers to companies.
A large number of Spanish and European businesspeople participated in the event, and were able to experience first-hand the most important event on Cloud Computing to date in Spain.
Four conference rooms, round tables and 18 participant stands
During the day, those present were able to enjoy a wide range of information in four rooms distributed by theme: SaaS, IaaS, Future and Cloud. In each of these specialized spaces, topics as varied as list of benin consumer email process management, security, geolocation, mobility, Big Data, brokerage or the legal aspects of Cloud Computing were discussed.
The fair, which is free of charge, began early in the morning with a brief welcome speech by Pedro Prestel , President of EuroCloud Spain and CEO of Verizon Terremark, as well as a presentation by Borja Adsuara, General Manager of red.es on Public Cloud Initiatives.

ExpoCloud 2013 has also been the setting for several round tables that took place throughout the day in the Lounge room, the latter dedicated exclusively to discussions between speakers from participating companies. At the event, attendees have participated in interesting debates on Green IT, Brokerage, Process Outsourcing or practical cases for SMEs, among others.
