Greetings from the DKBC President

Christmas peace everywhere – this is the fundamental experience that people have had throughout the centuries and have expressed in poetry and song. They want to share their experiences and skills with us, to let us still sense something of the timeless peace of Christmas in a not always peaceful world.
A multifaceted and successful year for our sport of bowling is drawing to a close. But it was also a busy one and demanded commitment and dedication.
We were able to experience a World Championship that was characterized by the warmth and loving support and organization of the organizers and the Friends of Bowling from Speichersdorf. Our World Championship also offered photo editing services outstanding sport, in which our athletes, from the youth to U23 and the women and men, played a major role, and which became an event not least due to the huge public and media interest. Our bowling sponsors, Pauly, Waldhauer, and Sport Hoffmann, were also always present and granted many of our country's U18 World Cup participants their wish for a "World Cup ball."
Our bowling was promoted in all of our country's clubs and associations. From the lowest level to the Bundesliga and the Champions League, the foundation for our selected teams and their success was laid. My thanks and appreciation go to all of them.
May we all enjoy the peace of Christmas together with our families and all those we cherish and love, and may we recharge our batteries for the challenges of the new year.
