Valeria Fiata is an Italian woman with a long career in the world of traditional sales and marketing . Tell us a little about your experience at Olivetti. What roles did you perform during the 11 years you were at the company?
V: I have a long experience in traditional sales and marketing. Olivetti is a very large company organized around different product distribution channels. During the years I have worked at Olivetti I have been able to see how the different channels are organized and the marketing practices they require . I started with dealers and then went on to large clients, moving on to organized and specialized distribution.
After so much time progressing in a large company, why did you decide to change your path and move to Barcelona to launch a start-up to help the disabled?
V: We simply decided to move the whole family due to a professional opportunity that my husband had and, having two children, the move to Barcelona seemed like an opportunity for everyone.
Disismore was an idea that was born after learning about the employment situation in Spain , developed within the pioneering incubator, Founder Institute.
What has been your role in disismore?
V: At disismore I was in charge of everything related to digital marketing: posts on social networks, advertising through Facebook ads, sending newsletters, and paid Google ads.
Why did you decide to enter the world of digital marketing and enroll in our Professional Master's Degree in Marketing and Social Media?
