We often think that Marketing only takes place in B2C and we overlook the fact that there is a large network of B2B companies that are extremely important for sustaining the economy. In the same way, when we think about Marketing strategies, the typical food, fashion or cosmetic brands that we all know come to mind. But beyond all this, there are companies with products for the industry or very specific services that need highly specialized Marketing professionals. We spoke about all this with Maribel Jaramillo , Marketing Manager at Tecfluid, SA and former student of the Higher Technical Course in Content Marketing Strategies.
What is Tecfluid?
M: Tecfluid is a family-owned industrial company dedicated to the albania consumer mobile number list design and manufacture of equipment for flow and level measurement.
It began more than 40 years ago (1974) due to the concern of a professional in the industrial sector. His desire was to find this type of products without having to import them from other countries, thus saving a significant part of costs.
Thus he left the company where he was a salesman and founded Tecfluid, beginning to manufacture a fairly basic type of flowmeter , and then continuing with the development of other different technologies and the manufacture of instruments dedicated to level measurement.
Today we are one of the main manufacturers in Spain and we export to more than 50 countries around the world.
What are flow measurement equipment used for?
M: In virtually all industrial sectors there are numerous processes necessary for the transformation of raw materials into different types of products. It is in these processes that flow measurement equipment (also called flow meters) or level measurement equipment is required.
Flow meters are used in all processes that involve working with a fluid, liquid or gas, and there is a need to control the quantity to be used. They are placed in the pipe that transports the fluid and measure the liquid or gas that passes through it.
There are different types of flow meters for measuring flow; the use of one or another depends on the flow to be measured and the chemical composition, temperature, pressure and viscosity of the fluid. Although factors such as cost, the reading accuracy we need to have or the place where we are going to install the instrument can also be considered.

M: Although it may seem unbelievable, practically all industrial sectors use flow meters. From dosing for refilling different types of containers in the food industry to the supply of drinking water from desalination plants, the measurement of biogas in landfills, the measurement of a flow rate to bill for its consumption, the measurement of chemical fluids to make mixtures that are required as ingredients in cosmetics or pharmacy, measurement of the contribution of water to mining processes... It is a very important part of manufacturing processes in general.
