We moved to utopic_US .

After thinking a lot about where to move, we chose utopic_US . It is a coworking space where approximately 150 people work, in fact there are 2 spaces, one on Calle Duque de Rivas 5 , and the other on Calle Concepción Jerónima 22. They are 150 meters away from each other . The advantages of coworking spaces like utopic_US in our case are very clear, on the one hand the price, which ranges from €70 to €250 per month (20% discount if you pay for 12 months), being surrounded by creative people who always inspire (everything is catchy except beauty), and having all kinds of specialists nearby (programmers, translators, designers...) in case they are needed for a project. As an added value, and after a week, it can be said that the atmosphere is quite good and surprisingly quiet. Many activities are carried out, which are notified from a private group, as well as job proposals.

The other alternative we were considering was Cink Emprende , which is "...a centre for entrepreneurs with an innovative approach created with a clear vocation to "boost entrepreneurship and startups". A unique 500 m2 ecosystem located in the heart of overseas chinese in worldwide database Madrid and an offer based on coworking work spaces , support for entrepreneurs through its accelerator in innovative business models, specialised training in innovation & entrepreneurship, events and incubation of projects with investment from Cink and/or third parties.



Its main charm was being able to have some direct contact with mentors, such as Luis Martín Cabiedes , Rodolfo Carpentier or Iñaki Arrola . As a free note, Cink Emprende has lowered its rates from 300 or 400 euros to 199-249€, curiously the same prices that utopicUS has had since I have known of its existence.

The choice between one or the other is not at all clear, but the fact that utopic_US is primarily a coworking space, and that Cink Emprende is a space to accelerate companies made us opt for the first one, if we were looking for investment the choice would clearly be Cink Emprende . In addition, the fact that utopic_US is next to Puerta del Sol gives it a special charm, Cink Emprende is located at C/Cristóbal Bordiú 55 , between Rio Rosas and Nuevos Ministerios , which is not a bad area, but it is not Sol either.

Also, and as a curiosity, Wilhelm Lappe is present at utopicUS , who among other things is in charge of organizing Iniciador Madrid. At Cink Emprende , Lucas Cervera and Javier Martín are the mentors , two of the three founders of Iniciador .
