“Sun and Co”, the deseasonalised 99 acres phone number data tourism project that has been awarded for its novelty.
The Sun and Co project was born in Xàbia (Spain) with the aim of meeting the needs of today's society. This company applies the innovative tourism business model: coliving.
What is coliving ?
As one of the founders, Eduardo Diego, points out in an article published in La Vanguardia, coliving is “a deseasonalised tourism , people who work remotely , who can do so from anywhere in the world. Self-employed, freelancers , who want to spend a season in a special environment, but without disconnecting from work.”
A new model that, in other countries such as the United States, has been around for years but which, in Spain, was completely unknown until now.
Among the distinguishing characteristics of this type of tourism, the possibility of meeting and interacting with professionals from other professional sectors and places stands out.
The project has thus been awarded the prize for best place to telework and, of course, live, in the first edition of the “coliving awards ” , held in Paris, but in a virtual format.
A clear example of entrepreneurship
The finalists were Urban Campus (Madrid), Lokal Tibilisi (Georgia) and My Town (Philippines), but in the end the company from Xàbia managed to be proclaimed the winner. All this, thanks to the high number of users who decided to repeat their experience at Sun and Co, the good reviews that it received were the main reasons that led the company to success.
In this sense, this and the other companies mentioned above are a clear example of entrepreneurship and innovation in times of pandemic.
